THE ENGINEERS BOARD OF KENYA INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF MACHAKOS UNIVERSITY ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES

The Chairman of Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK), Eng. Erastus Mwongera led a one-day independent review of Machakos University School of Engineering programmes. In his welcoming speech, the Ag. Vice Chancellor briefed the EBK team on the efforts the University has taken in attaining the full requirement by EBK since its charter in 2016 and affirmed that the University will continue to work closely with EBK in meeting its professional requirements.  

According to the Dean, the School of Engineering, Eng. Dr. Charles Mwaniki, Machakos University currently offers three (3) Bachelor of Engineering degrees namely; Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

The EBK Chairman applauded the efforts by the University towards fulfilling the EBK recognition and licensing requirements.
