Groundbreaking Ceremony for Cabro Paving Project

Machakos University marked a significant milestone on May 23rd 2025 with the official groundbreaking ceremony for a new cabro paving project in the University.
The event was held by the Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Christopher Gakama Gakahu, alongside Machakos University Vice Chancellor Prof. Joyce Agalo. Also present was Eng. Paul Mutinda, the site engineer from Nichomatt Construction Ltd, the firm contracted to undertake the project.
During the ceremony Dr Gakahu emphasized the university’s commitment to improving infrastructure to create a more conductive learning environment. Prof Joyce Agalo echoed these sentiments noting that the project aligns with the institution’s broader development agenda.
Mr. Mutinda assured stakeholders of the projects quality and timely delivery stating that completion is expected by the end of June 2025. The cabro paving project is part of Machakos University continuous efforts to enhance the students staff and visitors.
