Machakos University’s Second Place Triumph at the Sixth Kenyatta University National Economic Symposium

Students from Machakos University showcased their exceptional talent and innovative spirit at the Kenyatta University Sixth Students’ National Economic Symposium, held on March 6th, 2024.
Among a diverse pool of participants from various universities, the students presented their project titled “Internet of Things: An application in Agriculture Systems for Smart Irrigation System Sensors Managed by Mobile devices.” This groundbreaking project demonstrated the integration of modern technology with agricultural practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
The outstanding efforts earned them the prestigious second position out of seventeen projects presented at the symposium. In recognition of their achievement, the students were honored with a well-deserved trophy, alongside their esteemed instructor, Dr. Erick Omuya.
