Dr. James Mworia is the Chancellor of Machakos University,a position he has held since October 2016. He also works as the Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Centum Investment Company Limited, a position he has held since 2008.

The Council is the body of appointed members who jointly oversee the activities of the organization. The Council is expected to provide strategic direction, exercise control and remain accountable through effective leadership, enterprise, integrity and good judgment.
